Khaman Dhokla | Dhokla is a Gujrati food. A great dish to serve to the guest too. Nowadays all people are tasting this dish to cook in a different style. Some cook with Chickpea only that is called Khaman and some like to cook it with rice. There are multiple choices to cook it. It is tasty as well as easy to cook.
Let's learn how to cook it khaman?
Ingredients for paste of dhokla
- Chickpea flour 250 gm
- Grind garlic 2 tbsp
- Grand ginger 2 tbsp
- Curd 3-4 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder 2 tsp
- Red chili Powder 2 tsp
- Salt To test
- ENO 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Method of cooking Dhokla
1) Mix all properly-chickpea flour, grind garlic, grand ginger, curd, red chili powder turmeric powder, lemon juice, and salt together.
Note- There should not be any bubbles in the paste
2) Fill water in the steamer and heat it on medium flame.
3) Add ENO to the paste(Mix for 1 minute).
4) Transfer the paste to the aluminum dish after applying oil and put it into the steamer.
5) Leave it for 25-30 minutes on medium flame and check in between.
Ingredients for Tadka
- Lemon juice- 2 tbsp
- Sugar-3-4 tbsp
- Mustered seed- 2tbsp
- Green Chili- 5-6pcs
- Water- to add
- Oil- to test
- Curry leaves- 10-15 pcs
Method of tadka
2)Be ready with sugar water and add in the tadka.
3) Dhokla and tadka are ready to decorate, cut dhokla into small sizes and decorate it with tadka.
4) Dhokla is ready to serve.
